Description

The Cabos Collection Deck Box is the perfect way to keep your patio or deck attractive, organized, and ready for entertaining. This handsome box is crafted from durable eucalyptus wood and is given a stunning Java stain finish. Keep a variety of deck items handy with the spacious interior of this box as it complements the rest of your patio decor. You'll feel good about your purchase, as all wood is harvested within eco-friendly FSC standards. Some assembly required.

 

FSC Wood - Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) certified forests are managed to ensure long-term timber supplies while protecting the environment and lives of forest-dependent peoples.

 

Java stain finish will weather over time and wood will take on a silvery gray patina (common to all outdoor wood). Can be oiled twice a year to maintain finish - available at local hardware stores.

Care

Wipe clean with soft cloth and water solution made from mild dish soap. Natural Stain wood will need to be oiled twice a year to maintain brown finish, otherwise it will weather to a silvery gray over a period of time. Painted black finish will weather the elements and is designed for outdoor use; freezing and thawing may cause the paint to crack. We recommend storing the furniture in a shed or garage in harsher climates.

This is a great bench at a great price! The online picture does not do the bench justice. It does have the "slat" look that the cabos dining set has. I purchased the cabo dining set last year for our patio and it matches perfectly. Our dining set has held up great and looks like we just bought it. So, I would expect this to hold up just as well.

Could not assemble since missing the 8 large screw nuts. Smells of stain and if going to use in elements, should have some type of preservative or heavier finish. The stain will not last long--looks like it would wash off and dull quickly. Expensive for quality and hardware issues. Cushion should be included or at least an option.

It is nice- but unfortunately top is warped which affects it not closing properly-screw holes were drilled to big and stripped out for screws supplied-needed extra screws for more support on
lid top edging were hinges are flexing to much and not enough support

        Since no instructions were included, it took a while to assemble. The safety hinges didn't seem to work, so we just left them off. It would not close when they were installed, but we didn't have instructions to check installation.
        The wood seems very thin and stain finish is not even. It should be on a well-sheltered area because the finish and wood probably won't last in the elements.
