Description

The little International Caravan Sapporo Bench will make a stunning addition to your garden or patio. Constructed of acacia wood, it's both durable and beautiful, so it's just what you need. It features a sunburst design on the backrest that is sure to distinguish this bench from all the others. A classic, slatted seat features wide planks for greater comfort, and slightly contoured armrests give your elbows a relaxing resting spot. There are braces between the legs on each end for added stability. Some assembly is required.

      This bench is on our front porch and is functional and attractive. It is true to specifications and color. We had a little difficulty putting it together - one slat had to have the hole redrilled in order to screw it in. I do love this bench, though. It is exactly what I wanted.

      I HAVE BOUGHT THREE OF THESE FOR USE AT CEMETARIES, THE THEORY BEING THAT IF THEY GET STOLEN I'M NOT OUT THE SMALL FORTUNE THAT A TEAK BENCH WOULD REPRESENT. ASSEMBLY WAS A LITTLE FRUSTRATING, BUT THE EXTRA EFFORT TO RE-ALIGN AND RE-DRILL SOME OF THE HOLES TOOK ONLY ABOUT 10 MINUTES PER BENCH.

        We love this design. The sun ray pattern is very unique for benches like this -- hence the 4-star rating. However, on one piece, two holes were drilled in the wrong place (about an inch off) making assembly difficult (I had to improvise). Also the color was not as depicted -- more dark brown than reddish. [...] We were disappointed in the quality of this item for its price.
