    I was able to drill a hole to make it fit together properly. It was too much of a hassle to re-pack it and send it back. The box did not hold up to delivery, much less risk a return. The paint finish is very uneven and there are spaces where raw wood is exposed. This is supposed to be an outdoor bench, but I do not think it would hold up as is. I will paint and seal it, and it will look great in the garden. If it had been full price, I would have complained and returned it, though.

        I got an amazing bargain! This bench was almost twice as much at [@]!!! Also recieved in just 3 days. Very easy assembly. Lokes so nice near my front door, but I could place it almost anywhere and it would look great.We painted the circles aqua to match the trim on the house. This is my 2nd. purchase from Hayneedle, but will not be my last.

          Bench arrived date promised...Delivery company not so great. box in bad shape when arrived...torn up. But bench is in good shape...no damage. Look forward to putting together and using in our summer home for porch dining. It looks beautiful and know it is just what we wanted.

            Great price for a great price.

            Service and delivery comments:

            Delivery by FedEx was done on the right day, BUT they delivered it at 10 p.m. They rang the bell and ran, and frankly hearing the bell at 10 p.m. was startling. This is a FEDEX problem, not a Hayneedle problem.
