    The bench looks great on the front porch; however, will require additional painting by myself. Hayneedle was contacted and they deducted money from the price because it had to be repainted.

    The price is decent and the design is very attractive. The bench is perfect for our covered porch but I would not leave it directly exposed to weather. If this is your intended use, go with more expensive and very durable teak that does not require any painting.

    Service and delivery comments:

    The bench was delivered on time but it included several small dings with chipped paint and some areas of only a thin coat of white paint that left the wood showing through. Curiously, the box did not appear damaged. I sanded out the dings and re-painted with a high quality white spray paint.

      Item arrived in not so strong box. After unpacking, discovered some chip on wood at back bench and arm. Also paint was not all covered. Assembled was easy, took about 30 minutes with 2 people. Called Hayneedles and they are very friendly and took care of the issues. We didn't return it as we love the design. A bit of wood filler and paint would the trick.

      I am using this product to watch my children while they play in our yard. I frequently have other mothers over and it provides a nice way to sit side by side while still keeping an eye on the children. It is a very pretty bench and super easy to put together. It did have a few scratches and dings upon delivery, but customer service at Hayneedle handled this very professionally. I will probably waterseal it after we fix the dings and minor scratches.
