        OK, this is a pretty bench but that's how i got suckered in. it looks so picture perfect online but it is light weight and flimsy. There is no way the finish will hold up in even the mildest climates unless on a porch where it is protected. i would suggest checking the weight under the specifications and make sure you buy something heavier. it would be a great prop for an outdoor scene in a broadway play. in other words, disposable. i will probably have to buy another bench next year which is probably what the manufacturer is banking on.

          I bought the bench for a cosy spot in a grove of pine trees in my front yard so my husband and I could sit, relax and watch the dogs play. I was very pleased with the bench, and my "not so handy husband", put it together beautifully. It also looked great on my front deck. I couldn't be happier.

          Being a experienced person in the carpentry related fields I am extremely satisfied with the quality and fit of the parts. The design is a very stable one. All fastener holes have been pre-drilled and align with near perfection. The fasteners wear of the appropriate size to secure all sections. Though not necessary, I choose to also utilize weather resistant glue in ALL joints. My one dislike is the choice of allen head screws as opposed to torx head. That being said, be careful to not round out allen slots in screws. Proper allen key wrenches included. Take your time and use a few drops of dish soap in holes and on threads.
