Add instant charm to your front porch or garden with the Rose Crossweave 4-ft. Garden Bench. Made of tubular steel, it has a seat made of five rails that run the length of the bench. A lattice-pattern backrest is highlighted with a raised detail of a rose bouquet. Simple curved armrests flow straight into the legs. Tubular steel is lighter in weight and easier to handle than cast aluminum, and is more durable than regular aluminum.

In case of accidental gouges or scratches, we recommend that you treat this bench with a rust protectant. This would prevent any scratches from turning to rust.

Nice looking bench overall. Finish is a little contrived looking and not like a real bronze up close, but it doesn't look horrible and from a distance it looks nice. For the price it's about what I'd expect. The directions are backwards -- they tell you to use the long and short screws in the opposite places from where they're supposed to be. Otherwise it's pretty easy to put together but would be much easier with two people. The black caps they include to cover the screw ends don't exactly match the bench and detract a little from the finished look. We just got the bench but it seems a little fragile, and I've got my doubts on how long those four screws will hold up. We're using it on the side of our house as an occasional bench and to put packages on when we're getting in the house so it won't see much heavy use. I don't think I'd recommend it for heavy use or heavier people given its construction. It's not uncomfortable to sit on but would definitely benefit from some padding. [...]

This bench is attractive, but quite difficult to assemble. The directions are written to say the exact opposite of what is required--the LONG BOLTS GO ON TOP, AND THE SHORTER ONES ON THE BOTTOM!
The nuts/bolts supplied are just barely long enough (with great effort) to make them work--how about supplying ones that don't require major tools to make the assembly process finally succeed? This should take 30 minutes to assemble, but took three hours!

Still, it's an attractive bench when it's finally assembled!

I bought this bench to replace a wooden one which has since detiorated. It's an attractive design, [...] It's a nice bench, but the quality I would expect from Chinese manufacturing. For the price, a good buy.

back casting too heavy& tends to tip over when nobody is sitting in it. Also it could use another rung@ the rear of the seat to look balanced

          Customer Q & A

Q1: what are the seat dimensions of this bench?

          A: 47L x 17.5W inches

Q2: Will this rust? I live in Arizona.

A: It should not rust as long as it's handled with care; however, if you happen to gouge or scrape the metal, it would rust. A rust protectant would be an added assurance. The manufactorer suggests using Rustoleum.

Q3: How much does the bench weigh?

A: The weight is 37 pounds.
