I bought two of these benches and would gladly do it again. They are replacing two iron and wood benches that have weathered so badly that I have to get rid of them before someone gets hurt. Being cast aluminum, the new benches are far more weather proof than the old ones and I expect them to last much longer. As a plus, the were priced about the same as what I paid for the old benches five years ago.

One thing to be mindful of is that the bench is truly a loveseat and so smaller than a standard garden bench. This was not a problem for me, but may be a concern for some.

We placed the bench on a flagstone patio next to our firepit. Works great. Adds extra seating and is easy to move so those enjoying the firepit can adjust distance from the fire. The finish is nicer than expected. Instructions aren't terribly helpful for assembly, but it's pretty intuitive. Be sure you give it a chance--we almost packed it up and returned after placing the legs on the seat--was terribly unlevel, but after assembling all parts and adjusting the pegs on the bottom of each leg, it turned out ok--still a bit uneven, but acceptable. It's a little smaller than expected--pretty cozy for two adults.

Came so fast! Looks great. Good for decoration and sitting on to remove shoes at doorway. Assembled easily, but the screw heads are not deep enough to tighten with any strength. Should have black nut and bolt covers for all nut and bolts instead of just 4. But I do love it.

    I gought this to use as a bench on a tiny patio in my front yard -- I envisioned relaxing out there under a tree and watching the children play. The bench is really cute, the perfect size and style, but it is not a bench to relax in. You sit pretty much upright on a skinny bench that does not support much of your legs. There's room for one person to move around, so I guess you can find more comfort that way. It's not that it's uncomfortable, but it's not for relaxing, reading a book, etc. It'll fit two people if they are very close -- so it's also not great to hang out with a friend, unless, as I said, you're very close! I'd rate it 5 stars if you're looking for "decorative" and 2 stars if you're looking for "comfortable place to chill out."
